Artspace@16 final reception, May 3

Today, Sand T sent around a letter, inviting supporters to a potluck reception at Artspace@16. For those of you keeping count, this is the fifth announcement of a gallery closure in the last few weeks.
Thank You and Goodbye from artSPACE@16, Malden
You're invited to our FINAL Potluck reception on Saturday, May 3

Dear Friends,

I am writing to invite you to artSPACE@16's FINAL potluck reception on Saturday, May 3, from 2 - 5pm. Please join us for this momentous occasion to view our 43rd exhibit, ‘BEDECKED’ by KIM SALERNO. Kim will give a talk about her work at 3pm the same day.

Please be informed that ‘BEDECKED’ will be the last exhibit artSPACE@16 will host. After running artSPACE@16 (previously known as S.T Gallery in the Fort Point Channel) for nearly a decade (9 years and 8 months to be exact) I have decided to close its doors for good on May 31. The website http://www.artSPACEat16.com will continue to perform as artSPACE@16’s archive and as a current online art resource for all.

I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to all the exhibited artists, collaborators, curators, jurors, writers, family and friends that have contributed to the transformation and growth of artSPACE@16 over the years. I certainly could not have done any of this work without your help and participation.

Please stop by to say hello and goodbye at our last potluck on May 3. I would like to thank you all in person for your enthusiasm and support through the years. I hope to have the pleasure of working in some capacity with many of you on future projects.

For those that have been unable to visit artSPACE@16 in the past, this will be your last chance to do so. We are located at 16 Princeton Road, Malden, MA 02148. For more info about ‘BEDECKED’ exhibit by KIM SALERNO, please visit http://www.artSPACEat16.com

Thank you ALL for such a wonderful experience. I look forward to your visit on May 3.

Best wishes,

Sand T
