"The state of hipster typography" was the title of an entry on the blog MetaFiltertoday and though the blog doesn't refer to the font of the t-shirt below, it did make me think about the t-shirt I saw today while walking through the campus of an area university. I wasn't able to snap a proper shot with my camera phone at the time, so I came home and found a similar shirt at CafePress (there were MANY to choose from).
I'm hoping irony hasn't gotten the best of us. Spelling out the word "Darfur" in pink rounded letters on a pink t-shirt just seems typographically irresponsible.
