Farewell to Judi Rotenberg GalleryIf you were wandering down Newbury Street on Wednesday evening, you might have seen the above group of artists and friends crowding around Judi Rotenberg Gallery. The final event at the gallery -- one of the longest running galleries in Boston history -- was a sendoff dinner for the extended "family" of artists and friends. Toasts were given by Judi Rotenberg, who founded the gallery, and her daughter Abigail Ross Goodman, who took over nearly a decade ago and worked with Kristen Dodge to reshape the vision of the gallery.
Goodman promises to remain involved in the art community of Boston, supporting artists in other ways. Kristen Dodge will be opening her own gallery in New York later this year.
